Hi ! My name is Dany Mottier. Born in 1980, living in Hannut, I’m a guy who has been working as a programmer since 2002. I began my experience in IT as a hardware and software support engineer on behalf of the “Communauté française”. I also developed the intranet there.
With my baccalaureate as a programmer analyst obtained in 2004, I landed a position as project manager in Telecom and internet within the company Crystal Group.

In 2007, I joined the team at Fidexis, a subsidiary of the Laser group, Cofinoga and Dexia (newly Belfius), which dominated the world of consumer credit in Belgium.

In 2008, Fidexis was acquired by BNP Paribas. I continued my initial functions as a programmer and administrator of the telephony platform within BNP Paribas Personal Finance, a European economic interest group providing ICT services for BNP Paribas, Carrefour Finances and KBC-Pinto, a subsidiary of the KBC group.
In 2012, wanting to be closer to home, I joined the Web Visibility team as a senior PHP developer. I was able to delve into different techniques, such as community management or SEO. I created several websites for different SMEs.
From September 2013, I became a consultant programmer for ICTCG, Computer Futures or Blake & Partners in companies whose reputation is well established such as NSI, Edenred, Corilus and now NRB.
I held the positions of senior.net developer, R&D manager, application architect, technical leader, project manager and even scrum master.
And now ?
As you read few lines above, I’m for now a Project Manager But I’m still working on websites, coding for pleasure, etc.. I continue to ensure visibility and advise small companies, shops, restaurants, etc. This is why you will find a lot of WordPress technical articles here. I’m really passionate about development And even if I’m now not so close to the technical side of IT, I want to keep in touch with it.
Now, I finally decided to share my experiences, tips, etc. on a blog, welcome on nullref.be !
